Access Statement

Parking is off road on a tarmac drive, the parking area has a slight slope as does the first part of the path leading to the entrance. The slope on to the drive and path are fairly gentle and there are no steps. There is a small step up into the porch (75mm) and a step over the threshold (150mm) into the hall. The ground floor bedroom, bathroom and the breakfast room / lounge are all on the same level as the entrance hall. The first floor rooms are reached via a spiral staircase from the entrance hall. The bath in the Green room bathroom has been lowered slightly to allow easier access (step over height 475mm) and adjustable grab handles are provided. Access to all of the ground floor is suitable for those using a frame for assistance. The narrowest point in the hall is 770mm wide. Wireless Internet access is available from all rooms. Assistance with luggage is available. The rear garden is a flat, grassed area the same level as the external paths and has a table and seating. The swimming pool although sunken, is in a sloping part of the garden; the paved area around the pool is accessed by steps. 

Public Transport.

There is a regular bus service to Cambridge. The bus stop is approx 500 meters up a slight hill from Meadowview. 

The nearest train station is Cambridge approx 7 miles.

How To Find Us

Meadowview is on the B1046 6 miles west of Cambridge, 3 miles from M11

From London and the South, take the M11 north (junction 27 on M25), leave at junction 12. Turn left on to A603 towards Sandy for half a mile, turn right on to B1046 through Barton, Comberton and the next village is Toft (approx 3 miles from M11). Follow the road through Toft and Meadowview is the last house on the left.

An alternative route from the M25 is the A1. Leave M25 at junction 23 take the A1 north. At the Baldock junction (approx 20miles from M25) take the A505 Baldock bypass to Royston; at the roundabout outside Royston take the first left onto A1198. Approximately 8 miles along the A1198 turn right at Longstowe on to the B1046 (Cambridge/Toft). Follow this road for about 3 miles and you come to Toft and we are the first house on your right sign outside saying Meadowview Bed & Breakfast. From the North join the A14 south. After passing the Bar Hill follow the signs taking you straight onto the M11 (do not follow the A14 East) Leave M11 at junction 12, turn right on to A603 and follow directions as for leaving M11 from the south. There is ample off road parking and secure undercover space for cycles.
